Directions to the Conference of Writers

The Frankfort Country Club is located in the gated community of Two Creeks. There are two entrances into Two Creeks. One is accessible only by residents who have a key. If you approach in this direction you will not be able to enter. Instead, you will enter through the main entrance via US-60/Versailles Road. Please follow these directions. We want you to arrive on time!

 

From I-64

• Take exit 58 for US-60 toward Versailles/Frankfort. Turn west, toward Frankfort.

• Continue on US-60 for 2.8 miles.

• Turn right onto Country Lane. (Landmarks: on the left Rebecca Ruth candy shop and Captain D’s. On the right, a large WHISKEY sign before the traffic light for Country Lane.)

• Continue through the stop sign to the guard gate. Tell the on-duty guard you are attending the Conference of Writers at the clubhouse.

• In 0.9 miles, veer right onto Duntreath Street at the Y-intersection.

• In 0.5 miles, turn right into the country club parking lot. Enter through the front doors and proceed to the registration desk.

 

From US-420, Leestown Road in Lexington or downtown Frankfort via the Connector

• Proceed down Leestown Road (US-420 – the Connector in Frankfort) toward the east side of Frankfort.

• Exit on US-60, Versailles Road.

• Turn west, toward Frankfort.

• Continue on US-60 for 0.2 miles, to the next traffic light.

• Turn right onto Country Lane. (Landmarks: on the left Rebecca Ruth candy shop and Captain D’s. On the right, a large WHISKEY sign before the traffic light for Country Lane.)

• Continue through the stop sign to the guard gate. Tell the on-duty guard you are attending the Conference of Writers at the clubhouse.

• In 0.9 miles, veer right onto Duntreath Street at the Y-intersection.

• In 0.5 miles, turn right into the country club parking lot. Enter through the front doors and proceed to the registration desk.

 

From Downtown Frankfort via Versailles Road

• Head east on Versailles Road toward Versailles, passing Brighton Park on the left and Speedway on the right

• Turn left onto Country Lane. (Landmarks: on the right is Wesbanco and Eastside Family Medicine)

• Continue through the stop sign to the guard gate. Tell the on-duty guard you are attending the Conference of Writers at the clubhouse.

• In 0.9 miles, veer right onto Duntreath Street at the Y-intersection.

• In 0.5 miles, turn right into the country club parking lot. Enter through the front doors and proceed to the registration desk.
